An original, textbook WWII German Army (Heer) M31 breadbag strap (Brotbeutelriemen). This early to mid-war pattern strap is constructed from heavy-duty olive-green canvas, outfitted with standard steel adjustment buckles and friction clips reinforced with sturdy, dark-brown stitched leather tabs. The leather elements remain fully pliable and stable.
This specific specimen stands out due to its fantastic, wartime personalization. To prevent theft or loss within the regiment, the soldier carefully hand-sewed a linen cloth name tag onto the canvas body, displaying the stenciled soldier's name: "H. Löser".
