WWII German Wehrmacht Bakelite Carbide Field Lantern (Einheitslaterne 37)
An original WWII German Wehrmacht brown bakelite carbide field lantern, commonly referred to as the 'Einheitslaterne 37'. The lantern remains in good, solid condition with no visible cracks or damage to the bakelite body. It comes complete with both aluminum blackout slides (Schiebern). While the front glass is present, one of the side glass panels is missing. Inside, the carbide burner, internal sieve, and tension spring are all present and intact. The metal mounting clamp on the reverse is nicely Waffenamt (WaA) stamped. A very honest and complete field gear accessory.
