This particular example is crafted from premium, smooth leather in a highly distinct and incredibly scarce chocolate brown color variant. The stitching remains flawlessly white, tight, and completely intact, while the leather itself is supple with no cracking or signs of field or parade wear. Finding an original dress frog in this unique color, especially preserved in true mint, unissued condition, is extremely difficult for modern combat gear and dress uniform collectors.
