Wehrmacht M31 Aluminum Mess Kit - Non-Matching ESB40 / VDNS39
An original World War II German Wehrmacht Kochgeschirr 31 mess kit. This is a non-matching assembly, priced accordingly for a quick sale. The bottom pot is in exceptionally clean condition, retaining a very high percentage of its original field-grey paint, and is clearly maker marked and dated ESB 40. The top lid shows more pronounced wear, paint loss, and field use as pictured, but features a highly collectible pre-war manufacturer stamp VDNS 39 for Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke. Both components are constructed from early-war aluminum and function perfectly together without any major dents or holes. A very solid and affordable filler piece for a combat display or field gear setup.
