WWII German Luftwaffe Navigator Lighted Pencil
An original WWII German Luftwaffe navigator lighted mechanical pencil (Kartenleuchtstift) in excellent, unissued condition. This highly collectible piece of flight equipment was designed for aircraft navigators and pilots to read maps and plot tactical courses during night operations. The pencil features an internal illumination system that lights up the translucent amber tip, allowing the user to write and read in a dark cockpit without disrupting their night vision. This example is 100% functional, complete with its original pencil lead, and shows only minor storage wear. It comes ready for display or use with two included rechargeable batteries. We currently have a few of these available from a recent find; please contact us to check current availability before ordering.
