Rare Matching 1940 WWII German M24 Stick Grenade – Factory Inert/Display Model (RR517)
An exceptionally rare, museum-grade WWII German M24 Stielhandgranate, custom-manufactured from the factory as an inert training/display model. This incredible piece features a completely matching canister and wooden handle, both deeply stamped with the maker code and date "RR 517 / 1940" (Richard Rinker). The metal canister retains its original factory field-grey paint and features a crisp, stamped military inspector Waffenamt (WaA) mark. Both the top canister and the bottom safety cap are period factory-secured to the wooden handle using small steel pins/nails. Entirely inert, completely safe, and completely untouched—an advanced collector's item that provides an absolute monopoly for any high-end ordnance display.
