WWII German Army (Heer) Schirrmeister Trade Badges
A small lot of four unissued WWII German Army (Heer) specialist trade badges (Tätigkeitsabzeichen) for qualified motor transport and equipment administration personnel (Schirrmeister). Each circular patch features a machine-embroidered Gothic letter "S" in vibrant golden-yellow thread over a premium dark bottle-green (flaschengrün) wool base. Positioned on the lower right sleeve of the service tunic, this insignia identified the NCOs and specialists responsible for unit equipment, supply administration, and the maintenance of military transport vehicles and horse-drawn supply wagons. The reverse side of each patch remains pristine, retaining the untouched, light-colored buckram mesh backing characteristic of wartime factory production.
