Complete WW2 German GM38 Gas Mask Set
This is a very nice and complete textbook Wehrmacht gas mask ensemble in highly collectable condition. The GM38 canvas-covered facepiece is dated 1940 and features a crisp Waffenamt stamp alongside the prominent "bmw" manufacturer mark on the metal snout piece. The rubber remains supple and all fabric head harness straps are fully intact and functional. It comes complete with a well-preserved FE41 filter canister showing a clean, original factory finish. The matching standard-length M38 carrying canister retains an exceptional amount of its original field-grey paint with very minor storage wear. Inside, the canister holds its original tension spring, cleaning cloth, and a sealed packet of anti-fog Klarscheiben inserts. The long and short canvas carrying straps are complete, strong, and original to the set. An honest, untouched set that is hard to upgrade.
