RZM M7/80 1939 SA Dagger - Gustav C. Spitzer
A late-production, 1939-dated Sturmabteilung (SA) Service Dagger produced by the maker Gustav C. Spitzer of Solingen, bearing the RZM code M7/80 alongside the year stamp 39 on the ricasso. The blade remains bright and retains a crisp, well-defined "Alles für Deutschland" motto on the obverse. The wooden grip features a highly attractive, pronounced natural wood grain profile and holds a tight aluminum eagle alongside an undamaged enameled SA roundel. The reverse side of the wooden grip shows a small, honest period hairline crack near the upper crossguard, remaining completely stable. The typical plated zinc crossguards display standard age-related lifting and bubbling to the finish, completely expected for this specific manufacturing period. Complete with its original chocolate brown painted steel scabbard, showing light paint loss and surface patina, but retaining tight throat screws and both suspension rings intact. A solid, completely untouched and no-nonsense late-war SA dagger from a sought-after Solingen manufacturer.
