Luftwaffe M40 SD Q68 rough texture

This is a beautiful example of a Luftwaffe M40 rough texture helmet made by the Quist company. Still a bit "dusty"and in an uncleaned condition. It's difficult to put a percentage on the original factory paint, but I'd say close to a 100%. It's a very large size 68. The helmet has a low batch number "325." The size 61 liner is originally fitted and sits tightly in the shell. It's marked B&C Littzmannstadt. The drawstring is original and still at full length. The eagle has been carefully removed over time. A truly beautiful, untouched piece.
