No decal M40 Luftwaffe blue helmet!

An M40 helmet in a rare Luftwaffe blue factory paint. Made by ET (Eisenhüttenwerke - Thale) in the large size 68. I believe the badge number is 573. The helmet is in very nice condition; the decal has been carefully removed without damaging the paint. The liner has never been removed from the helmet and is complete with its drawstring. The leather is very supple and clean, stamped with the size "61" and marked on the inside with a production date of 5-44 (May 1944). It was probably left there during the whitewashing of the barn; there are a few whitewash specks on it that are easy to remove. An untouched helmet. A beautiful helmet in a rare color.
