A Feuerschutzpolizei helmet is a German Fire Protection Police helmet (specifically the M34 Stahlhelm) used during the Third Reich era. These helmets are characterized by a lightweight steel or aluminum construction, a black painted finish, and distinct double decals—usually a Nazi Party swastika shield on the right and a police eagle on the left. Often called the M34, these helmets feature a "square dip" brim, high-positioned rivets, and two sets of seven "salt and pepper" ventilation holes on each side.
Decals: Typically feature a silvered Police eagle on the left side and a NSDAP party emblem (swastika in a white circle on a red shield) on the right. Finished in a distinctive satin or matte black paint. Usually equipped with a leather M31 civil-style liner, often with straps for attaching a neck guard. Some models included a comb on the top (similar to fire helmets) or were constructed from lightweight aluminum. These helmets were issued to fire police personnel (Feuerschutzpolizei) within the German Ordnungspolizei.

An exceptionally well-preserved FeuerschutzPolizei helmet with two decals. Made by the Quist company (a rare sight). Complete with the chinstrap and liner. The bumper is in good condition; these were installed to protect against falling debris. The liner is clearly worn and bears the ink stamp 57 of the head size. A very beautiful helmet.
