The obverse features crisp Gothic script, a black enamel field, and the distinctive white Lebensrune (Life Rune) beneath a static swastika. The reverse features an untouched age patina alongside a fully functional, original vertical pin-back assembly. Crucially, the back is sharply embossed with the official Reichzeugmeisterei logo and the scarce sub-contractor maker code RZM M11/100, denoting the master metalsmith and jeweler Gebrüder Godet & Co. from Berlin.
