Third Reich RADwJ Rank Brooch for Arbeitsmaid – 40mm Variant (Condition: Excellent)This exceptionally crisp and completely untouched wartime rank brooch (Rangbrosche) represents the Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend (RADwJ), the female branch of the national labor service. Taking the form of a substantial 40mm circular alloy medal, the obverse features a highly defined, clean mobile swastika flanked by two ears of wheat, symbolizing agrarian service and national labor. The face displays a beautifully preserved, deep chocolate bronze patina that settles cleanly into the recessed pebbling without any distracting zinc pest or heavy oxidation. The reverse features a fully functional, complete, and un-repaired vertical pin-and-catch assembly. While entirely unmarked by a manufacturer—a common occurrence for mid-war Arbeitsmaid insignia—the overall casting sharpness and tight mechanical solder indicate a high-tier wartime workshop contract.
