WWII German Large Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) Fanfare Trumpet and Banner Set (79 CM / 55 CM Banner)
A premium, exceptionally impressive German Third Reich period ceremonial marching ensemble from the Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ)—the junior section of the Hitler Youth for boys aged 10 to 14. This outstanding set consists of a highly visible large model fanfare trumpet measuring a substantial 79 cm in total length, complete with a large-format ceremonial variant trumpet banner (Fanfarentuch).
The double-sided black linen banner measures approximately 55 cm × 55 cm (including the fringe). It features a large, separately applied white linen Sig-rune meticulously machine-stitched onto the black center field on both sides. Heavy twisted white cotton cord fringing runs completely along the vertical and bottom edges and remains 100% intact [zzzrEN]. The banner retains its original top attachment ties. Crucially, the entire textile assembly has been strictly UV-light tested and is entirely negative, confirming the absence of modern synthetic glow or post-war reproduction fibers.
The nickel-plated fanfare horn remains in solid, functional shape with an honest, uncleaned storage patina. Highlighting its genuine period service use, the flare end near the rim of the bell features a clear, hand-stamped period owner or unit identification marking reading "T M HR". An extraordinarily scarce, complete large-scale musical display ensemble with outstanding presence.
